GenZ is the future. We’re diverse AF, we believe Black Lives Matter, we know what’s up, and we get a little irritated when pearl clutchers get offended when we say “fuck”. 

Meanwhile the GOP is over here is overturning Roe, abusing the planet we’re going to be the ones to live on, trying to destroy democracy. We were told we’d understand why things are so fucked up when we got older. This shit makes even less sense now than it did when we believed that.

Democrats are so busy using methods like phone banking or canvassing from the 70’s and neglecting social media that they haven’t realized that we’re not waiting to be offered a seat at the table. It’s our table. It’s our world that we are making decisions for. It’s our future. We’re going to be the working class for the next 50 years while the people who built the system that’s screwing us will retire and float on their white privilege.

We’re not going to perpetuate generational trauma. We’ve got billionaires to tax, healthcare and education to make free, a planet to heal and school children to save from the generational trauma of mass shootings to do. Let’s get to work.
